February, 2010

This weekend, me, and Viri decided to go to Jaipur. We will take train from Chandigarh to Delhi, and from Delhi to Jaipur. Yes it's a loooonnnggg trip :) We took a sleeper class seat from delhi to jaipur. Along with 8 other people who join us to celebrate HOLI in Jaipur. Holi, or Holli, also called the Festival of Colors, is a spring festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and others. It is primarily observed in India and countries with large Indic diaspora populations, such as Suriname, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad, United Kingdom, United States, Mauritius and Fiji. Holi have become tourist destinations during the festive season of Holi, which lasts here to up to sixteen days. The main day, Holi, also known as Dhuli Vandana in Sanskrit, also Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing colored powder and coloured water at each other.

But! during Holi, I didn't took out my camera because all people were throwing color powder everywhere. So here are a view of my traveling, a day before holi :) enjoy :)
